Slimbrigde Soaps

Home-made and hand-made, featuring pure and simple, natural ingredients such as: Coconut, Palm, Olive, Sweet Almond, Castor, and Wheat Germ Oils; Shea Nut and Cocoa Butters; and Essential Oils for fragrance.
Slimbridge soaps are made by the cold-process method, retaining all of the natural glycerine to add extra moisturising properties. We cure the soaps for as long as possible, ensuring they are gentle, mild, and kind to your skin.

All products are tested on the makers, their friends and families. None of the products are animal tested. And of course, all of the products are suitable for vegetarians (and in most cases, vegans).
Slimbridge soaps aim to produce very little waste and recycle all materials whenever possible.

Soaps

Rose Geranium - Now our most popular fragrance. The heady scent of Rose Geranium essential oil will boost your sense of well-being. The red and white swirl sets it off perfectly in your soap-dish.

Lavender and Lime – Refreshing and relaxing, and inspired by our own garden. The added zing of lime perfectly complements the soothing floral scent of French Lavender Essential Oil.

Lilac – This scent is an absolute classic - the heady floral fragrance is Robin's mother's favorite. Enjoy summer all year long.

Lily of the Valley – A strong, true re-creation of one of the most delightful flowers of spring, with a pretty pale green swirl on a creamy white background.

Hyacinth - Almost as strong as the real thing. Enjoy perennial springtime in the bath and shower.

Thai Lemongrass & Coconut Soap – Take an exotic mini-break to Southeast Asia in the comfort of your bath. A warm and fragrant blend of lemongrass & coconut aromas will soothe and comfort your spirit while the addition of cocoa butter and coconut cream hydrate and replenish your skin.

Specialty Skin care Soaps

Goat’s Milk, Oatmeal & Honey – Give your skin a good breakfast. Lush local goat’s milk and locally sourced honey will nourish and replenish your skin while the finely ground oatmeal will help to soften the water and provide a light exfoliation. This is our mildest and gentlest bar yet. Particularly good for sensitive or dry skins .

Tea Tree & Nettle - This will take the ‘sting’ out of bathing. Anti-bacterial Tea Tree oil and Wild Nettles make this a really good astringent soap for problem, oily skin. Not recommended for dry skin.

Castile – As pure and simple as soap can get. This is olive oil, transformed into soap; there's nothing else whatsoever. If you have particularly sensitive skin, or just want to use the purest, most natural soap it's possible to get, then this is for you.

Other Special Soaps

Coffee Kitchen Soap - You’ve got to try this to believe it! Made with real ground coffee to help remove strong odours like onions, garlic and fish from your hands while helping to remove grease and kitchen dirt. Brian’s dad swears by this one.

Bath Salts - Rejuvenating and refreshing; allow the pure Sea Salts to relax your body, softening and toning your skin while your mind and spirit are soothed by the scent. Enjoy your own private spa treatment without leaving your bath.

Lip Balms – Protect those lips from the elements! This soothing, yummy lip balm made with local beeswax, cocoa & shea nut butters will soothe chapped skin and keep your lips exceptionally kissable.

Whipped Body Frosting smells delicious and gives your skin a beautiful shine

Gift Sets - made up of a selection of soaps, or sets of a particular scent, i.e. Rose and Geramium with salts, soap and lip balm.
