Michelle Ohlson - ceramics
My range of clocks, pictures and brooches are handmade by me in my gloucestershire workshop. I use white earthenware clay to produce slabs from which the pieces are made. The colours are achieved by under-glazes applied by air-brushing and hand-painting. This is protected by transparent high-fired earthenware glaze, then further decorated with gold lustre which recieves a final firing. The clock movements i use are reliable and guarenteed for one year. After that period i can provide a new movement for a small charge.
