Warren Lee Cohen A local Author, artist and teacher, Warren had produced two very different books which are new to the range at Made In Stroud. The first and children's book entitled "Dragon Bakes Bread"
Warren teaches science, sculpture and bread baking to students of all ages and leads bread baking workshops in stroud as well as internationally. Proceeds from the sale of this book will go to benefit two initiatives that are dedicated to fostering creativity in education: The Olympia Waldorf School and Ererson College in Forest Row, England, where students from around the world are given the opportunity to develop their full artistic, intellectual and spiritual capacities while they train to become Waldorf/Steiner teachers. The second, an adult book 'Raising the Soul', presents a pathway to help us say 'yes' to more of what life offers - to open to the ambiance of lifes expericences. The book is organised so that each chapter introduces a different soul capacity that can be mastered in thurn. the headings include: Review the Day; Clear Thinking; Positive World View; Open Mind; and Gratitude. The book also offers clear descriptions of the exercises, a 'Plan of Action' and advice on developing a meditative practice. During his many years of experience in practicing and teaching meditation he has explored many paths including judaism, Hatha Yoga, Tibetan Buddhism, and in particular the anthroposophy or 'wisdom of the human being' developed by Rudolf Steiner.
